Installation and Maintenance Instructions

These Instructions Must Be Read Fully Before Commencing Installation.

 

1.0 Description

1.1        Automatic Transfer Switch Suitable For use on 4 Pole three phase and 3 Pole single Phase operation . 

1.2        Manual Transfer / Bypass Switch For use on 4 Pole three phase and 3 Pole single Phase operation . 

 

2.0 Installation.

2.1        Upon Receipt of the panel you should visually inspect to check for any damage to the unit.

2.2        If there are any queries concerning the equipment BPGL should be contacted prior to installation

2.3        Check the details on the rating plate to ensure that the correct power & current ratings are correct ,                                                   as per your purchase order with BPGL. 

2.4        All incoming supplies to the panel must have short circuit & overload protection breakers.    

2.5        The panel must be securely mounted in the desired position to suit the application.

2.6        The Panel is only suitable for surface mounting ( Unless Floor standing has been supplied )                                                                this must not be recess mounted

2.7        Install In a dry and sheltered position with clearance above and below the panel to allow for                                                              ventilation and cable entry.

2.8        Do not install in close proximity to a heat source or in a high humidity.

2.8        All electrical installation must be carried out by suitably qualified and competent personnel in accordance with all                                  current statutory requirements.

WARNING! The panel must be isolated from any power supply during installation and maintenance

3.0 Wiring

3.1        Select the correct wiring diagram for the panel supplied, ensure that all earth connections are made.

3.2        All wiring and control cables must comply with latest regulations.

3.3        In the event that the wiring connections for the panel supplied do not correspond to the diagram please contact BPGL for further assistance.

4.0 Maintenance

4.1        All goods must be have a service contract or be checked by a qualified electrician, if you are carrying out the service inspection through a third party you need to have a full description and detailed report of works carried out.

4.2        Service should be carried out on a monthly or quarterly schedule detailed report basis.

4.3        For general ware and tare of all components, Bolts correctly torque to the correct tightness, cable insulation & heat test. 

4.4      If the service is not carried out BPGL Warranty will no longer be valid in part or in full.

 

GUARANTEE

All components within the finished product are covered by the original manufacturer's guarantee. We endeavor to assist with any initial issues effecting the finished product for the first 14 days of the product being the property of the customer. The customer hereby acknowledges and agrees that he shall have satisfied himself before entering into a contract as to the capacity, quality, effectiveness and performance of the Goods and their fitness for purpose and suitability for the purpose for which they are to be used. BPGL Within a period of 1 year from the date of dispatch from the works, repair or replace any goods which are proven to have defects as a result of defective materials or workmanship. All goods must be returned to BPGL for inspection.

LIABILITY

No liability for any consequential loss or damage arising from goods supplied by us or late delivery of goods supplied by us can be accepted. This clause does not and will not affect any statutory rights. All goods must be have a service contract or be checked by a qualified electrician on a monthly or quarterly schedule detailed basis for general ware and tare, Bolts correctly torque, insulation heat check , any faults found should be reported direct to BPGL for a period of the first year.
